Bangkok Winter

Bangkok Winter: The Clear Light

Winter in Bangkok is less about the cold and more about the clarity of the light. As the humidity breaks, the city reveals a different kind of energy—vibrant, sharp, and constantly in motion. This collection is an observational study of the Thai capital during its most temperate months, documenting the "real life" that unfolds in the parks, the canal-side communities, and the towering skyscrapers.

From the early morning haze over the Chao Phraya River to the crisp shadows in the markets of Sukhumvit, my lens seeks the quiet dignity of the season. Drawing on my background in documentary filmmaking and 15 years of NYC experience, I capture the intersection of Bangkok’s modern pace and its seasonal rituals, finding the humanity within the machinery of the Mega City.
