Havana
Havana: Time and Resilience
Havana is a city of layers, where the grandeur of the past meets the ingenuity of the present. This collection is an observational journey through the crumbling facades of Habana Vieja and the wide, salt-sprayed boulevards of the Malecón. My lens seeks the "quiet dignity" in the everyday—the soft afternoon light in a high-ceilinged solar, the rhythmic movement of classic cars, and the warmth of the people who define the city’s soul.
Moving away from the typical tourist gaze, these photographs document the "real life" of Havana—a city defined by its endurance, its music, and its singular, weathered beauty. Drawing on over 15 years of global storytelling, I capture Havana as a living archive, where every street corner tells a story of survival and vibrant spirit.
