Trat Hot Winter
Trat: The Coastal Winter
Located at the eastern edge of Thailand, where the land meets the Gulf and the Cambodian border, Trat during the "hot winter" is a place of sharp light and deep stillness. This collection is an observational study of a region often passed through, but rarely truly seen.
My lens moves through the quiet fishing villages, the local markets, and the vast fruit orchards that define this province. I sought to capture the "real life" of the coast—the salt-worn textures of the piers, the resilience of the local communities, and the unique, hazy atmosphere of the seasonal heat. These photographs are a tribute to the quiet dignity found in the periphery of the "Mega City," captured with a documentary eye for detail and connection.
