Yangon to Mandalay, Myanmar

Yangon to Mandalay: The Golden Corridor

This collection documents a journey through the spiritual and historical spine of Myanmar. Moving from the weathered colonial streets of Yangon to the ancient royal capital of Mandalay, my lens seeks the "quiet dignity" that defines the Burmese spirit.

In Yangon, I captured the intersection of fading British architecture and the eternal glow of the Shwedagon. As the journey moves north toward Mandalay, the focus shifts to the artisanal workshops, the Irrawaddy riverfront, and the rhythmic devotion of the monastic communities. This is an observational study of a land in a state of timelessness—honoring the resilience and warmth of a people whose traditions remain a vital, living force in the modern world.
